Claude.ai is an AI tool designed to assist users with generating human-like text responses, making it useful for tasks such as drafting emails, writing content, and answering questions. It leverages advanced natural language processing to understand and respond to user inputs effectively.

In depth

There’s Claude the website, Claude the phone app, and Claude Desktop. Claude Desktop is the most powerful of the three, allowing you to connect to other apps (e.g., Notion, Google, Microsoft) via MCPs. You can also create your own MCP, Agent, and a whole lot more. There are fewer functions in the web and app versions, but you can follow the conversation from desktop to browser.

Claude has chat and code functions. Code is better at technical aspects (clearly includes code), while Claude Chat serves the rest.
